Deal Introduction

Selllution’s Deals module allows you to track the entire sales cycle from start to finish.

Each deal record represents a prospective sale and includes relevant sale data. The deal record also manages relationships to other important records such as Task, Events, Phone Calls, Relations(to other contacts), and files.

A deal will typically progress through several Sales Stages until it is marked either "Closed Won" or "Closed Lost".

Getting Started

From the Launchpad click on on the CRM Module.

You will be taken to the Welcome page for the CRM Module. From the left menu click Deals.

This will open the Deals submenu.

Click the Deals link to view the list of deals.

To view the Deals List navigate from the left menu choose My Deals.

There are several ways to view a deal:

  • List mode
  • Kanban mode

List Mode

This is the default viewing style. It displays all the deals in a list that can be sorted. To switch to Kanban mode you click on the Kanban button on the upper right menu.

Kanban Mode

The Kanban Mode allows you to view your deals based on the Deal Stage. In this view you can interactively drag and drop each deal to another stage or to Closed Won or Closed Lost.

To swtich back to list mode

From the top bar click List.

Add Stage

Each pipeline has columns that represent each stage in your sales cycle. You can add new stages by clicking on the Add Stage button.

After clicking on Add Stage button a pop up will emerge.

The Weighted Field represents the likelihood that the deal will end up as a “Closed Won”.

For example, instead of saying that we have 10 deals in the negotiation stage worth $100,000, you might say we have 10 deals in negotiation at 50% or greater likelihood of closing with a weighted value of $50,000.
