Contacts are individual people with whom you have a business relationship.
Sellution supports both B2B and B2C businesses. However, B2B businesses usually associates contacts with an account, while businesses that sell to and individual consumers (B2C) usually file contacts as individuals.
In Sellution, we require that each contact is stored in an account, however, if you’re a B2C business, the consumer’s name will become the account name.

From the Launchpad click on on the CRM Module.
From the left menu click Contacts.
A new menu of the different contact types will appear, choose Customer Contacts.
You will now see a list of Customer Contacts.
Customer Contact List
The Customer Contact list can be sorted by clicking on the column headers. You can also adjust the amount of contacts per page from the footer menu.
The footer has additional controls to manage your list. You can learn more about the paging controls here.
New Customer Contact
To create a new contact click the New button from the contact list..
You will be take to the Customer Contact Detail page.
On the detail page you will notice several sections for:
- Social Media
Each section on the Customer Contact detail page is collapsible so you can optimize your screen real estate.
B2C Customer Contact is an individual and are do not require an account. Simply select the B2C radio button in order to disable the account field. When you choose B2C a customer contact's first and last name will be created into an account. However, this account will be hidden from view unless you click the radio button for B2B.
First Name and Last Name. The name fields should always be entered in order to identify the records throughout the entire platform.
If you would like you can enter a title for the customer contact’s job title.
Each contact is associated with a Sellution User (Employee). If you would like to transfer ownership to another employee you can simply choose them from the drop down menu if you have permission to do so from Admin.
The primary contact check box designates the contact as the primary contact for the account. If you have selected B2C the primary contact button will automatically be checked.
Each Customer Contact can fall into one of three customer statuses
You may convert a Lead to Customer Contact at any stage in your sales pipeline. When you do this manually, they may or may not have purchased a product from you. They would ideally be marketed as a Non-Customer.
You can classify a customer contact as an active customer by manually marking them as a Customer. Sellution will automatically mark a customer contact as a customer if they have purchased from your online store or if you have closed a deal in the sales pipeline as won. You may change this status manually except if they have purchased from your online store.
A prospect indicates there is an open new deal. When the deal is closed won. The the prospect status with move to non-prospect. If the deal is closed lost the status will move to lost-prospect.
Sellution features many powerful automation tools that can send things like Happy Birthday emails and much more. Use the birthday field to store your customer contact’s birthday.
Use the gender radio buttons to specify which gender your customer contact belongs too.
Primary & Secondary Email
Store your customer contacts email address so you can easily communicate with them through Sellutions email tools.
Store your customer contacts website url.
Does your contact accept email marketing? Sellution will automatically update this check box based on your campaigns. You can also manually adjust this field.
Here you can add as many phone numbers for each contact as you would like.
Simply click the Add button. A pop up will emerge with a drop down menu to specify the type of phone number and additional fields for the country code, phone number, and extension.
Click Save and the phone number will be add to the list.
Easily add as many addresses for your customer contact. Sellution syncs with Google Maps to identify the coordinates of the address and return a snapshot of the location.
To add an address click the Add button. A pop up will emerge with a drop down menu to specify the type of address.
Click Save to insert a new address record.Type your text
Social Media Section
To add a social media link, click the Add button.
A pop up will emerge with a drop down menu with the available social media platforms.
If you would like to add a new one you can go to settings>list management>social media type to add new ones.
Use the notes section to add additional details about the general contact.
